PNG 41st Independence Day Reception in Tokyo
A reception celebrating the 41st Anniversary of Papua New Guinea Independence, was hosted by Papua New Guinea Ambassador to Japan, Ambassador Gabriel Dusava and his wife Anna Dusava, at Tokyo Marriott Hotel, 16th September, 2016.
In the reception, Japanese Government was represented by Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Kiyoshi Odawara. Honored Guests included Chairman of PNG-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League Hon. Kazunori Tanaka and Deputy Director General of the Asian & Oceanian Affairs Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr Noriyuki Shikata. Apart from the members of the Diplomatic Corps in Tokyo who attended, representatives of the corporate sector, company executives, NGOs, JICA and members of the Papua New Guinea community in Japan, also participated in the celebration.
