The 41st Asia-Pacific Festival & Charity Bazaar 2017

Each year, the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society, with its 26 member countries from the Asia-Pacific regions organizes this festive charity bazaar. All proceeds will go towards supporting welfare, education, and natural disasters of the participating countries. The spouse of the Viet Nam Ambassador to Japan will be the Chairperson, and the spouse of the Papua New Guinea Ambassador to Japan will be the Vice Chairperson for the 2017 bazaar. There will be many novelties and of course, value-for-money items as well. Please come and browse through the various stalls, cuisines and enjoy some traditional dances. We look forward to seeing many of you on the day!

Open from 9:00am to 15:00pm on weekdays until further notice.

Consular Service – Visa Application

– Visa Counter is open from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Except Japan & PNG National Holidays).

Travel Restrictions to Papua New Guinea due to coronavirus measures

As of 6th October 2022, there are no restrictions for International travel into Papua New Guinea.

Start of Digital Arrival Card for all travelers

Effective 1st Oct., 2025, PNG Government started Digital Arrival Card (DAC) for the entry into PNG, instead of paper arrival card. Please access the link below and register your information using your computer or smart phone, within 72 hours before the estimated arrival time.

The tablet for registration is available at arrival area at Port Moresby International Airport. In the transition period, paper arrival card is still available.

Start of The Green Fee on Foreign Passport Holder

Foreign Passport Holders are now requied to pay Climate Change Green Fee when departing PNG, 50 kina (or USD 12) in cash or by credit card.

Green Fee exempiton criteria is as follows:
PNG Passport Holders / Crew Members of a vessel or ship / Diplomats / Military Personnel / Children under 12 years / Transit passengers of less than 12 hours

How to get to the Embassy
By Train
  • Musashi Koyama St on Tokyu Meguro line (12 minutes on foot)
  • Fudoumae St on Tokyu Meguro line (15 minutes on foot)
By Bus
  • 1 minutes on foot from Iriyabashi Bus stop by taking Tokyu Bus No.72 leaving Gotanda for Ebisu/Shibuya
  • 7 minutes on foot from Motokeibamae bus stop leaving from Meguro Station

Please wear masks and wash hand by sanitizer before entering the Embassy refraining from Coronavirus, etc.
